I have spent a lot of time in the past few days with the good folks who started Mercy Seat, a new postmodernish Lutheran church plant in Minneapolis. They are going the triumverate route and as such are a trio of pastors: Mark, Kyle and Kae. Their worship is for the critically orthodox and is a liturgically rich Jazz service with excellent music. These people are like my lost tribe. It was like love at first theological discussion. Mercy Seat

Gibbs and Bolger spent 5 years compiling this book which relys heavily on interviews with emerging church leaders in the US and the UK. They seem to favor independant churches over denominational ones...so very little is said about us "loyal radicals"
